Hmmm…if I wanted to paint an autumn scene, some of the first places I’d look to for inspiration would be the work of Hudson River School painters like Albert Bierstadt, Thomas Moran, or Thomas Cole, the photography of Erik Stensland and John Fielder, and Bill Watterson’s Calvin & Hobbes, especially his watercolor paintings. The Disney movies Bambi and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (specifically, the “Blustery Day” segment) also have some really great autumn scenes!
TOOTHED ART
Could I get a recommendation on what to use as reference for an autumn background I’d like to do?
